About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking assistant to support Carter with a variety of hands-on service jobs through Carter Tidy Up. This role includes assisting with moving, hauling, organizing, and general labor tasks for residential and small business clients. Work may involve lifting, loading/unloading, and working in different environments such as homes, apartments, and storage units.

This is a flexible, on-call position — work is offered based on job availability, and you can accept or decline shifts based on your schedule. We’re looking for someone dependable, efficient, and comfortable with physical work who can maintain a positive and professional attitude on job sites.

$22–$26/hour depending on experience and performance. Most jobs are 2–5 hours, with opportunities for longer and higher-paying days. Reliable, hard-working assistants are offered more consistent work and higher pay over time.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with loading and unloading furniture, boxes, and equipment

  • Support moving jobs (local residential moves, garage moves)

  • Help with junk removal and hauling tasks

  • Assist with organizing and light cleaning when needed

  • Follow direction and work efficiently as part of a small team

  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude with clients


Requirements:

  • Physically able to lift 50+ lbs consistently

  • Punctual, dependable, and responsive

  • Comfortable working in different environments (homes, apartments, garages, outdoors)

  • Previous moving or labor experience is a plus (not required)

  • Must have reliable transportation to job sites (Transportation available from home base to job sites if meeting location is arranged in advance)

  • Provide Updated Resume and Potential Schedule Availability
